The Smartest Giant In Town

The Smartest Giant in Town comes from the same author-illustrator team and has been adapted for the stage by the same people who adapted Julia Donaldson and Axel Schefflers’ The Singing Mermaid and The Everywhere Bear, Little Angel Theatre. This time around it’s about a giant who longs to look smart but soon finds that looking good isn’t anywhere near as important as being good on the inside.

Told by puppets, young children adore this tale about the generous giant, brought to beautiful life on stage in a new musical adaptation. This is happy, colourful and heart-warming tale is told by puppets, set to new music by the award-winning musician Barb Jungr. The story is adapted and directed by Little Angel’s artistic director Samantha Lane with set and costume design by Kate Bunce, puppets design by Judith Hope, and lighting design by Sherry Coenen.
